We have an exciting new opportunity for a Part-Time Staff Reviewer (21 – 25 hours per week) to work in the Independent Third Party Review Program.
The 3rd Party Reviewer is responsible for facilitating independent reviews of children in foster care. Children include those placed in foster care as a result of abuse or neglect, and/or children who are freed for adoption. The program is mobile and all reviews will occur at Department of Social Services District Offices.
The Staff Reviewer must possess a bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field. A Master's degree is required. The Staff Reviewer must have experience in one or more areas of child welfare, child development, or Family Court. Candidates must be cleared by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for instances of child abuse and/or neglect.
