Join our Team! We have an exciting new opportunity for a Program Director in our Rockland County, NY clinic. Base Annual Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000.
SUMMARY of DUTIES
Our Clinics offer individual, group, family and medication services for individuals of all ages – and for a full range of behavioral health conditions. The Program Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program, services and staff. The Director will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values that include the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making and collaboration. When possible, the director will use evidence-based practices; always embracing a trauma-informed and person-centered approach.
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participation in meetings with community agencies and other service providers as needed.
2. Provision of direct clinical services, which may include, but are not limited to, outreach, assessment, crisis counseling, individual/family mental health treatment, and integrated health care management.
3. Market Clinic Program to new potential referral sources and conduct community outreach referrals to elicit referrals.
4. Participates in budget oversight and review of fiscal reports.
5. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of relationships with providers to which MHA makes/receives referrals.
6. Development and execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analysis of data for continued program development within clinic and IOP settings.
7. Participate in quality insurance (QI) related activities as assigned by VP of Clinic Operations.
8. Responsible for data collection and analysis for quarterly VAP report out meetings.
9. Program development and oversight of day-to-day operations at the clinic site, school-based satellites, and contracts, grants, and/or MOUs that fall under the clinic's umbrella.
10. Continued assessment of day to day operations to ensure clinic /programs are running to full potential.
11. Responsible for maintaining clinical records and following guidelines and regulations for documentation of services.
12. Oversight of documentation completed by staff.
13. Attendance at internal management meetings as requested by the VP of Clinic Operations or other executives.
14. Responsible for participation in program development and in training programs as requested by the VP of Clinic Operations or other executives.
15. Follows the established agency policies and maintains appropriate professional standards.
16. Provide 24-hour crisis intervention on-call services on rotating basis.
17. Responsible for adhering to all standards and guidelines established by applicable regulatory authorities.
18. Provide supervision, mentoring, coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
19. Other related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. The Program Director shall be an experienced mental health professional as defined by Part 585 of the OMH regulations; i.e. LCSW or Licensed Psychologist.
2. Must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
3. Work independently, complete tasks and all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner.
4. Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data base management.
5. Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a driving record that is satisfactory to our insurance carrier, have and maintain a Defensive Driving certification.
6. Program Director must be cleared NYS Justice Center through fingerprinting for a Criminal History Records search.
7. Must be and maintain clearance by the DCJS New York State Sex Offender Registry.
8. Program Director must be cleared by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs Staff Exclusion List (SEL) and the New York State Medicaid Exclusion List.
9. Program Director must be cleared by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) for instances of child abuse and/or neglect.
10. The Program Director must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
