Norman J. Michaels, Jr., President

Mr. Michaels, a benefits management specialist, is president of Michaels & Associates, Inc. and Tri-State Special Marketing Corp. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College.

Jeffrey H. Becker, Esq., Vice President

Mr. Becker, an attorney, is a senior partner of the law firm of Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C. He is on the board of the Hadassah Medical Organization, New York Business Group on Health and Westchester Jewish Community Services. He is a graduate of Brown University and New York University School of Law.

Patrice Ingrassia, Vice President

Ms. Ingrassia is Director in the Office of Public Policy at Ernst & Young. Previously, she has headed their Public Relations, Advertising and Relationship Marketing departments. She is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with a strong interest in using this knowledge to help others. Prior to becoming a member of the MHA Board of Directors, she served as a Non-Board member of the MHA Development Committee, where she will continue to offer her expertise. Ms. Ingrassia graduated from Fordham University with a Masters degree in Public Communications; she earned her undergraduate degree at Bucknell University where she majored in English and currently serves as Chair of the Trustee Advisory Committee on Marketing and Communications.

Michael J. Lombardi, Secretary

Mr. Lombardi is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Sesame Workshop in New York City.  He previously held executive finance positions in the broadcast media industry. He is currently Treasurer for Fellowship Hall, an affordable senior housing complex in Bedford. He graduated from Columbia College and received an MBA from Columbia University.

Mary Beth Morrissey, Esq., Vice President

Mrs. Morrissey is a member of the adjunct faculty at the Fordham Graduate School of Social Service. As a sole practitioner, she practices law representing not-for-profit and health care organizations in corporate governance, contracts, health law and regulatory compliance matters. In addition, she provides pro bono services to community organizations on a range of legal, corporate governance, health care and ethics topics. She is a graduate of Fordham University Law School, the School of Public Health, New York Medical College, and is currently in the Doctoral Program in Social Policy and Gerontology.

Hon. Vincent R. Rippa, Vice President

Mr. Rippa, an attorney, is in private practice of law and serves as the Acting City Judge of New Rochelle. He was formerly the minority leader of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, mayor of New Rochelle and associate counsel to the speaker of the New York State Assembly. He presently serves as chairman of the Westchester County Tax Commission and is a member of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys Club of New Rochelle and Children’s Developmental Center. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Fordham Law School and as an exchange student, attended the University of Fribourg in Fribourg, Switzerland.

John J. Ryan, Treasurer

Mr. Ryan is executive director of administration at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and serves as a trustee on the Burke Foundation and the Burke Medical Research Institute. He is a graduate of Iona College.

Donna Esposito Clarfeld

Ms. Clarfeld is a former Vice-President at M&T Bank in Tarrytown, New York. She has studied business at Pace University. Prior to becoming a member of the MHA Board of Directors, she served as a Non-Board member of the MHA Development Committee.

Nora Liss Contract

Ms. Contract is the Director of Financial Services at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division and Payne Whitney Manhattan. She received an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a BS in Social Planning and Public Policy from Cornell University.

Hon. Mary F. Foster

Ms. Foster is currently serving as Mayor of the city of Peekskill, NY. She is a retired partner of Deloitte & Touche, LLP and is a graduate of Pace University.

Shelly Greenwald, Esq.

Ms. Greenwald is an attorney who specializes in the field of employment practices. She holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Lehigh University and a J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law.

Geoffrey Kent, Esq.

Mr. Kent, an attorney, retired from Kraft Foods, Inc. in 2002 as a Division Director of Legal Services after nearly 29 years of service. Mr. Kent currently spends part of his time as a volunteer for organizations he supports, including as a board member of MHA of Westchester. He is a graduate of New York University and New York University’s School of Law.

Marion Lynton

Ms. Lynton, a psychologist, is on the board of Jewish Community Center of Mid-Westchester. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and Columbia University.

Hon. Suzi Oppenheimer

Ms. Oppenheimer is the New York State Senator for the 37th District. She advocates for housing, education, the environment and women issues. Previously, she was mayor of Mamaroneck and an analyst on Wall Street. She is a graduate of Connecticut College for Women and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Bobbi Rebisz

Ms. Rebisz is currently the Agency Marketing Director at METLIFE in Elmsford, NY. She is also a member of the Business Council of Westchester. She graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Adelphi University.

Jill H. Shore

Ms. Shore, an educator, is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Northern Westchester and a founder of the Northern Westchester Shelter. She is a graduate of Wheelock College.

Richard T. Suarez, CFP

Mr. Suarez is the Director of Investment Advisory Practice at Clarfeld Financial Advisors. He is a member of its Investment Policy Committee. His primary focus is providing investment advisory and financial planning services for both U.S. and off-shore clients. As a financial planner, Mr. Suarez has extensive experience counseling corporate executives and professionals, with an emphasis on asset allocation for single-security concentrated portfolios. He is an educational speaker in their Asset Allocation and Investment Workshops that are presented nationally to investment professions of major financial institutions. In addition to being a member of the MHA Board of Directors, he will serve as a member of the MHA Investment Committee. Mr. Suarez is a Certified Financial Planner and received his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University. He is also an alumnus of Fairfield University. He has been honored by the Westchester Business Council as a top professional whose talents and abilities have exceeded expectations and whose achievements set him far above his peers. He dedicates some of his free time assisting the fundraising efforts of Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY.

Yvonne D. Tropp, CFA

Ms. Tropp is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteer. She retired as Vice President of Business Development at U. S. Trust involving investment management and trust and estate planning. She serves on the Board of the Westchester Philharmonic and is a member of the Beach Point Club. She graduated from Brown University with a degree in Ecomics, received her MBA from New York University Stern School and is a Certified Financial Advisor (CFA).
