Giving to MHA of Westchester
MHA enables adults, children and families to receive the help they need, when and how they need it. MHA helps the most vulnerable. We are there with compassionate, professional support wherever and whenever you need us – seven days a week, 24 hours a day. If we are to meet the growing demand for our services, we urgently need your support. Each person we help has a personal story. Click here to read how we can help.
Your donation will help MHA to reach out to those most in need, advocate for individuals who have a mental illness, provide direct services to individuals, families and children, promote mental health and help to eliminate the stigma of mental illness.
Contributions to MHA can be made to a specific program or to help support our ongoing work, and there are many ways to give:

Operation Holiday Joy
Each year, MHA gathers and distributes new, unwrapped gifts to hundreds of children, teenagers, adults and seniors. Individuals and organizations (churches, synagogues, scouting troops) can help by purchasing gifts of food, clothing, household items or toys that MHA matches to a child or family to make their personal wish lists come true.
You can also help by making a financial contribution to support our efforts in making the holidays brighter for those in need, or donate a store gift card that enables an individual to shop for the holidays. Financial contributions and gift cards for holiday outreach are welcome year round.

"Dear MHA - I thought you would like to know what a wonderful thing it was for Annette to receive the presents for her boys and for herself. She came into my office looking tearful and complaining of stomach pains. When I gave her the gifts, and she saw all the toys and games for Sam and Frank, she burst into tears. She could not believe that someone could be so generous - and she was especially touched that they did not even put their name on the gifts. When she stopped crying she told me that her stomach ache had disappeared - that she had been so miserable at the thought of not being able to give her boys a Christmas that she had felt ill. Then when I gave her the phone card and the A&P cards, she was thrilled. She said she could call her grandmother down south on Christmas, and could get the materials to make her Christmas cookies as well as the food for Christmas dinner. Her whole face lit up."
