Activities with Children - Science ActivitiesBronx ZooNow officially called the Wildlife Conservation Park, the Bronx Zoo is filled with great things to see and do. It can get expensive, but this place is a favorite for both adults and children. In addition to typical zoo animals, all displayed in humane habitats, the Bronx Zoo features the Skyfari Cable Car and the Bengali Express Monorail. The Zoo is big, so you may not be able to cover it all in one day.

A terrific hands-on science museum. You can easily spend hours exploring the many exhibits (there are always at least 200!). The planetarium screen movie theater is pretty cool. Look for the electronic doorway that tells you your height as you pass under it.
Call to be sure the Science Center has re-opened. It is under renovation and is scheduled to re-open in July 2007.
