What We Deliver

Treatment and Support Services
Our staff members attend to and prioritize the safety issues experienced by victims of abuse. Trained clinicians with expertise in family abuse, and interpersonal and psychological trauma provide individual and group therapy to adults and children impacted by violence. Family counseling is available when appropriate. Psychiatric evaluation and medication therapy is also available.

FACES (Family Abuse Children’s Educational Series)
FACES is a time-limited group for children living in violent homes. The group helps children understand and deal with the experience of witnessing or being the direct target of violence. FACES also assists parents in effectively responding to their children’s reactions to the violence they have experienced or witnessed.

WAVE (Workshop for Anti-Violence Education)
WAVE is a group program for men who are abusive to their female intimate partners. WAVE holds men who are abusive accountable and responsible for their behavior, while simultaneously teaching skills necessary to develop and sustain relationships that are non-abusive. WAVE has English- and Spanish-speaking groups available both during the day and evening. For more information about the WAVE Program click here.

(FACS) The Family Abuse Court Services Program
FACS trains community volunteers to help any individual seeking an order of protection from the Family Courts in White Plains or Yonkers. FACS assists individuals and families torn by domestic violence who seek relief through the courts.
