Children's Home and Community Based Services
Children's Home and Community Based Services are designed to allow youth under the age of 21 to participate in a vast array of developmentally and culturally appropriate services, by granting them access to a series of Medicaid funded services. Services are provided where youth and their families are most comfortable, in the home or in the community, and are designed for youth who - but for these services - require the level of care provided in a more restrictive environment or are at risk of elevating to that level of care.
MHA provides the following Home and Community Based Services:
- Caregiver Family Support and Services
- Community Self-Advocacy Training and Support
- Planned Respite
- Prevocational Services
- Supported Employment
