Residential Services

Our transitional housing Apartment Treatment Program helps individuals achieve personal goals and obtain permanent housing with the help of residence counselors who can assist with managing medications, accessing health services, developing social networks and strengthening daily living skills. Individuals who meet homelessness requirements as outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development may seek housing through our Supportive Housing/ Rental Assistance Program units, where they have the opportunity to work with a housing specialist to develop skills such as managing personal finances, negotiating with their landlord and accessing community resources. Supportive Housing residents may remain in these permanent housing units and receive our support as long as needed.

MHA cannot accept referrals for residential services directly; requests must be made through the Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health. Download the application form here or call 914-995-5220.

For more information on our Residential Services, please contact Ruthanne Becker at 914-345-5900, ext. 7510 or beckerr@mhawestchester.org.
